Do offer Tackle Football and Flag Football?
NEW THIS YEAR
SB-L Youth Football offers tackle football for grades 3rd-6th. This change from padded flag to tackle for all grades was made to facilitate early development of key football IQ and skills.
Flag football is offered through Sergeant Bluff Parks and Rec for grades K-2nd. Contact them directly for more information on their program.
Is Youth Tackle Football Safe?
There is of course an inherent risk in any sport a child participates in and it's completely understandable to be concerned about your child's safety in any sport. Safety is the top priority to both the SB-L Youth Football Board and our head coaches who receive training from SB-L head coach Justin Smith. Teaching and coaching players on proper techniques has shown to significantly reduce impacts of injuries. In addition to well trained coaches, proper and well fitting equipment, strict safety protocols and age appropriate leagues can all minimize the risk for injury. Our Board Members and Coaches are always willing to speak with you about any concern you have so please reach out at any time.
How do I register?

When do you practice?

Do you travel to other towns?
There is minimal travel around the tri state area, including Ponca, Elk Point-Jefferson, Vermillion, Moville, Lawton, Whiting/Onawa and Hinton.
